We’ve not published an article or made a video in a while, so this blog post will hopefully address our absence.
Don’t worry though, we haven’t disappeared, we’ve just been busy.
While the world has been in lockdown, we have double-downed on work at the farm and on Anarchy Chocolate.
Down on the Farm
I’ve been creating a new kitchen garden behind the nursery at the farm although the chickens keep getting in and destroying it. Still the second planting of sweet corn is coming through nicely now and we have enjoyed some good crops of long beans and cucumbers.
We are in the middle of the rainy season, so any gardening is a challenge at the moment. My tomatoes were a wash out this season.
Fruit season was late this year but still ongoing for mangosteen and rambutan. Durian has long finished, and we did manage to get a fine harvest this year. It’s all gone now except for the homemade durian ice cream which incidentally was how I first was introduced to this exotic, smelly fruit.
In the Farm House Kitchen
Meanwhile, in the farmhouse kitchen, Katae has been finding new ways to incorporate our chocolate into her recipes.
Chocolate kombucha, chocolate bread, double dark chocolate ice cream, you name it, she can make it! Which is great because from Friday Anarchy Chocolate will be attending the Khao Saming Tree Festival were here delicious chocolatey treats will be for sale.
Which is a nice segway to invite you to the festival. Come along and join in the fun (don’t forget your brolly), the Anarchy Chocolate family is looking forward to meeting you.
Besides Anarchy Chocolate, there are thousands of trees and plants to brighten up your day and hundreds of stalls from local businesses from all over Trat and the neighbouring provinces in addition to Ford and Otop.
Our signature Anarchy Dark and Milk Chocolate bars will be available at a very special festival rate (you won’t see this price anywhere else!), and they will only be available while stocks last.
85% Dark Chocolate 185 – 150 Baht
33% Milk Chocolate 185 – 150 Baht
Chocolate Tea 120 – 100 Baht

In addition Katae and her sister Karok we will also have a delicious selection of home-made chocolate fudge brownies, double-dark chocolate muffins, cookies and farm baked bread.
We also have a number of Forastero and Trinitario cocoa saplings for sale. All our trees are grown at Anarchy Farm in Thung Nonsi from our pods.
