Fresh Chrysanthemum Tea

Welcome to the Thinglish Kitchen today!

I would like to introduce you to plants that make fine and beneficial herbal teas directly from our Kitchen Garden.

The first one is chrysanthemum tea. The name chrysanthemum derives from ancient Greek ‘gold flower‘ and the Chinese ‘mums‘. The beautiful yellow flower is what we are going to use today to make chrysanthemum tea but the flowers do come in many different colors including orange, red, white and purple.

The second ingredient we will use from the kitchen garden is Pandan green leaf with smooth smell

Ingredients to Make Fresh Chrysanthemum Tea
1. Chrysanthemum flower

2. Pandan
3. Sugar

How to Prepare

Look at the picture above
1. Heat up the water
2. Add Pandan in (for the smooth smell)
3. Add sugar a little bit or how much you love to be
4. Add Chrysanthemum and boil it till water get yellow (like the picture bellow)
but not take too long, will make the taste a little bit sour
